One for All at Cuddington
At Cuddington Community Primary School and Nursery, one of our strengths is our size.
Being a small, one-form entry school means that our children can move seamlessly from Nursery to Reception, Year 1 and beyond, supported every step of the way by our exceptional staff.
“Cuddington Community Primary School is a small, friendly, one-class entry, all-through primary school with Nursery on the edge of Worcester Park,” says Principal Emma Dempster. “We seek to serve our community by providing a strong, supportive, caring environment where children thrive, grow and achieve.”
In their Ofsted report on the school, the inspectors state: “Pupils feel they are warmly welcomed at school. The school’s mottos of ‘small school, big welcome’ and ‘bringing out the best’ resonate with pupils. The school has high expectations for all pupils’ achievement, and pupils achieve well. Pupils value the way the school makes sure they are known as individuals and helped to do as well as they can.”
Among the many other benefits at Cuddington, children of all ages enjoy our OPAL (Outdoor Play And Learning) offering, along with ‘messy play’, ‘just playing’, and activities designed to develop the motor skills vital for handwriting.
We are supported in our aims by The Howard Partnership Trust, of which we are a member. The Trust comprises 13 Primary, Secondary, and Special Schools across the South East of England.
The current Ofsted report adds: “The school’s leaders are systematic in their approach to school improvement and, with the support of the trust, ensure pupils are served well. Staff appreciate the school’s shared supportive workplace ethos.”
